Knowledge

  • What do I mean with knowledge base?

For me, knowledge is awareness gained by experience. This includes study but also the personal encounters I had during my upbringing, travels, and work life in various institutions and businesses. For learning, important qualities are curiosity, the ability to understand yet transcend the dominant paradigm, and the willingness to think outside the box. Over my life, my interests in climate and earth system science, farming, ecology, and social justice somehow merged into a clear vision of where we are at - and where emergent knowledge invites us to go.
